Next Bone Marrow Drive

The bone marrow donor drive held on June 8 in Sacramento was a
successful event. The drive started at 10:00 AM and ended about 5:30 PM.
The Sacramento Blood Center, an NMDP representative, and it's volunteers
took blood samples from 208 people for HLA typing. Sacramento Blood
Center charges $28.75 per person for HLA typing. Everyone were very
greatful that Mana Foundation organizes such activities and contributed
about $4,900 of financial support. Mana Foundation paid about $1,000 to
the blood center to cover all charges.
